Kokopelli knows...the songs of the heart
are the only true songs..

As you travel....imagine

"They" say that idealism, believing in self, believing in others, and believing that all things are possible, if good people of good hearts come together--that all those things are "old news," flickering flashbacks to the late 60's and early 70's. You know, I think "they"--those judgmental, know-it-all others--are wrong. I think that if we each try to do our best to open our hearts, and to imagine....that the world can be transformed. Worth a try, enit?

Imagine

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
No religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one.

If you're serious about living on Planet Earth with respect for other living beings, be sure to visit The Hate Directory ,
an up-to-date watchlist of groups using the Internet to spread hatred, oppression, prejudice, and violence as a way of life. This excellent site also lists several other "hate watch" sites.

Remember Lokai?

He was relentlessly pursued for more than 50,000 years by Bele,
a ruling member of the "superior race" on Cheron. Bele, part of the militant tribunal that had seized control of what had been an advanced planet, was black on the right side, white on the left; whereas Lokai and his people were white on the right, black on the left. Prejudice and inter-racial warfare caused the eventual total destruction of their home planet. Bele's hatred and the devastation of Cheron were portrayed in an excellent Star Trek episode which was, of course, more about our own inner space, beliefs, and actions, than it was about some imagined outer space.
